Delete Your Account

Last updated: 18 August 2026

You can ask for your TechHive HRMS account to be deleted at any time. This page explains what happens when you do, what is erased, what your employer is required to keep, and how long it takes.

Read this first. TechHive HRMS is a workplace system. Your employer — not TechHive AI — controls your employment record, and the law requires them to keep parts of it even after you ask for deletion. Deleting your account removes your access and your personal data from the app. It does not, and cannot, erase payroll and tax records your employer must retain.

What is deleted

WhatDetail
Your sign-in Your password is destroyed and every signed-in device and API token is revoked. You will no longer be able to sign in.
Notifications Push notification tokens are deleted, so the app stops reaching your devices.
Your profile photo The image file is deleted from storage, not just unlinked.
Personal contact details Personal phone number and home address held on your portal account.

What your employer keeps

WhatWhy
Payroll and tax records Your employer must keep these for a period set by law, commonly several years after employment ends.
Attendance and leave history Retained where it supports a payroll record or a statutory return.
Your employment record Dates of employment, role and department, kept as your employer's record of the employment relationship.
This request Kept as evidence of when erasure was asked for and carried out.

Your employer decides how long these are kept, within the limits the law sets. To ask about their retention period, or to ask them to erase something they are not required to keep, contact their HR team directly.

How to request deletion

From the app

Open Profile → Security → Delete my account and follow the prompts.

From this page

Use the form below. You do not need to be signed in — but if you are not, HR will need to confirm who you are before acting, which takes longer.

How long it takes

If you still work here

Deleting your account removes your access to the system. If you are still employed, you will not be able to clock in, book leave, view payslips or raise requests, and your employer may need to create a new account for you to work. Speak to HR first if you are unsure.
