Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 18 August 2026
These terms govern use of the TechHive HRMS web application and mobile app. By signing in, you agree to them.
1. The service
TechHive AI provides a hosted human resources system covering employee records, attendance, leave and other absence, payroll administration, approvals and related functions, accessible through a web application and a mobile app.
2. Accounts and access
- Your employer creates your account and decides what you can see and do within it.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell your employer immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You can review and end your own active sessions from your profile.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials or let somebody else use your access.
- Your employer may suspend or remove your access at any time, including when your employment ends.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Attempt to access records you have not been granted permission to see, or work around the permission system.
- Probe, scan or test the security of the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Upload malware, or files you have no right to share.
- Submit information you know to be false — including attendance, expense or overtime claims.
- Copy, scrape or extract data in bulk except through features provided for that purpose.
- Reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the service.
4. Your employer's responsibilities
This section applies to employers.
- You are the data controller for everything in your workspace. You are responsible for the lawfulness of what you collect, for informing your staff, and for honouring their data rights.
- You are responsible for who you grant which role to, and for reviewing that as people change jobs or leave.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter, including payroll figures and approval configuration.
- You must keep your account details and billing information current.
5. Our responsibilities
- We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care, and process personal data on your instructions as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We maintain the security measures described in that policy.
- We will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance that will interrupt access.
6. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures outside our control including network, hosting or power outages. Any service level commitment applies only if it is stated in a separate written agreement with your employer.
7. Accuracy of records
The system records what is entered into it and applies the rules an employer configures. It is a tool for administering employment, not a substitute for professional advice.
Payroll, tax and statutory calculations must be verified by the employer before payment is made. We are not responsible for the consequences of figures entered incorrectly, of approval workflows configured incorrectly, or of reliance on a calculation that has not been checked.
8. Intellectual property
The software, its design and its documentation belong to TechHive AI. Using the service grants no ownership in it. The data an employer enters remains theirs; we claim no ownership over it and use it only to provide the service.
9. Fees
This section applies to employers. Fees, billing period and payment terms are set out in your subscription agreement. Unpaid fees may lead to suspension after notice. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it or your agreement says otherwise.
10. Ending access
- An employer may end their subscription in line with their agreement.
- We may suspend or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, or where required by law.
- After termination, an employer may request an export of their data within a reasonable window. After that window it is deleted from active systems and ages out of encrypted backups on the normal cycle.
- Statutory records an employer is legally required to retain remain their responsibility to keep.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TechHive AI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data where that loss was avoidable by the employer keeping their own records. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Where liability is not excluded, it is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified to employers before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
